Don't Take the Bait!

Make This New Year Different!

Extra! Extra! It's a Sunday Inspirational Extra!
Got New Year's Health Resolutions? Got diet plans? This is a Must Read!

One of my mentors, Dr. Clarice Fluitt, taught me,

"God will let you believe what you need to believe until He gets you in the right position to receive."

It is so true that revelation is often held up until people are in position to hear it. And, you need to know that time is running out for many of you to get in gear to hear for this New Year!

This past weekend, a tremendous release in the heavenlies occurred. 2011, the year of transition, is rapidly converting toward 2012 – the year of governmental order – Kingdom governmental order, divine order in the house. With this moving toward divine order, Dr. Ray and I both are prayerful that many will have now developed ears willing to hear God's Word on health and healing, Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Today's bonus inspirational blog is one of many layers to this revelation I am endeavoring now to bring it out of my spirit and onto the paper. At the moment, we are answering the question…

What's really wrong with dieting?
And, if not dieting, how do we get healthy or lose weight without it?

The very first most obvious reason is that diets never really "work" if you define "work" as a permanent change for better health! But too many people still don't seem to acknowledge that. Why not?

Let’s look at the conversation between a man and Jesus: (full text is in Mark 10:17-25NKJV)

“Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’

And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions."

He was sad, you see. Because that's not like, fair, I see. (Sadducee, Pharisee. Selah.)

This man obviously didn’t want the true answer. He left sad because he only wanted Jesus’ agreement that his choices, white-washed with religious terminology, were already sufficient.

If there is one certain thing about me, and Dr. Ray, too, for that matter, you really shouldn't ask us about a thing if you do not want to be responsible for the Truth when we give it to you.

For example with the HCG we wrote on in the last blog, I remember exactly the Lord's instruction, "If someone specifically asks you about it, you may respond. Otherwise, do not. If you share Truth with them, and they choose not to listen, they are still held responsible for the knowledge (light). That could be a danger to them rather than a help. Wait for their inquiry or for my release."

Back to the topic of vain questioning…

You are merely looking for an answer that is acceptable to God other than the direction He has already given you.

Questioning what your spirit has already convicted you of is simply the carnal flesh’s endeavor to justify compromise and disobedience. That is what diets do. Even if you read scripture along with the diet, bondage through the law is still bondage. All it does is make you want to cheat and break the rules!

So, you see, for Jesus, seeing the man's heart, the answer wasn’t even really about the man's riches as much as it was about the heart that replies: “What is the difference how I accomplish this? Just tell me my way is sufficient. I want your approval, not your direction.”

Let me make that a little clearer for you:

“What is the difference if I do it my way or your way, Lord, as long as it works?

As long as the end justifies the means?

If I put a scripture on it and tell everyone I am doing it by grace, but it is really being done by law… What’s the difference?

Be aware of that conversation in your head or the little convicted scratching inside when you know you are not following your heart.

That vain questioning voice is a religious spirit "egging on" or prodding your own carnal flesh to question God's instructions.

The destroyer is a stealth enemy who is highly experienced with this question. Watch this.

"You are tempted in the same way that everyone else is tempted. But God can be trusted not to let you be tempted too much, and he will show you how to escape from your temptations." 1 Corinthians 10:13: (CEV)

“What is the difference? Isn't this the same as…? ”

Stop that. You already know in your heart that it is not the same as. The reason I get asked this so much is that its root is that which is common to man.

Here is the original incident that started it all: Genesis 3:1-15AMP)

NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?

And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden,

Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,

For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.

Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew (…) that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apronlike girdles.

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you?

He said, I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?

And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me–she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate.

And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I ate.

And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.

Can you see yet that this is not a harmless question you are asking? Where is it coming from? God asked Adam, "Who told you that you were naked?"

Who told you any way to accomplish the goal, as long as others are doing too, is acceptable?

Who told you that surely you would not die if you diet one more time?

Who implied to you that there isn’t really doesn’t matter if you accomplish your physical goals (or any other kind of goal) with the world’s methods as long as you achieve the appearance of Kingdom benefit?

Friends, many of you, like is common to every man, perhaps unrecognizably, have been overriding the voice of the Jesus, in your heart through the Holy Spirit and yielding your physical body, and your mind, to the destroyer.

Listen, please, just because a thing causes weight loss, or financial increase, attraction, whatever, just because a process technically "works" does not mean it is good or godly for you. Cancer causes weight loss too. Death causes weight loss.

Get the picture?

Redefine your definition of "it works"!

The root of this attitude is in the heart of a man but it is expressed in actions and choices…

Listen to Isaiah 14:12-15 (NIV)

How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."

But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit."

Behind the dieting mentality, even when cloaked with religious phrases or icons, are the prideful attitudes that corrupted the heart of satan himself, causing him to be cast out from the perfect presence of El Elyon, The Almighty, all perfect God.

Yes, it is simply the fleshly nature to try to get around having to obey, to find a substitute for every indulgence instead of bringing the flesh under, for accommodating temptation instead of using the power of God to resist it, and for putting others and us under the law instead of learning to be led.

But it is the very nature of the devil to presume to know better that the ways of God, to ignore or to question God's specific instructions on the care of the Temple.

The Word of God clearly says (2Tim3AMP) that diets are the doctrines of demons. It is not harmless. It is the bait of satan. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT!

It is satan who tempts you with the lust of the eyes (soul), the lust of the flesh (body), and the pride of life (spirit). He wants to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to be who you are. He wants your destiny.

Genesis 3:5 says, "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.

A humble heart to hear Truth from the Word of God is your protection from the devices of the enemy.

There is a clear, concise, anointed pattern for the care of His Temple, for losing weight, recovering health, maintaining that healthy body, and for possessing the blessing in all things.

The first step is to say no to dieting forever as we approach this New Year – 2012 – the year of Divine Order.

If you have been a dieter, like I was for years, even if you have used HCG or even if you have sold HCG or other drugs, who cares about that anymore as long as you hear and heed His voice now? No big deal! All have fallen short at one time or another or, the most likely case for most HCG users, you have been ill-advised (which we will look at later!).

Just thank God for revelation and information that sets your permanently free, repent for any compromise and disobedience, then just walk away from the bondage! Done, Over, Forgiven, SO EASY! No condemnation! Hello? How great is God! He just wants you FREE and in fellowship with Him.

Step Two – That is the fellowship part. Say yes to your destiny and all that God has planned for you – the Way He has it purposed. One way to begin doing that is with wise counsel and instruction on what the Word says that Way is.
