What’s Fertilizing Your Memory Trees?

Phantom Facts or Powerful Truths

Memory

We’ve been discussing over the past several articles the power and possibilities of our MEMORY.

Memory is not just about thoughts. Every cell in your body has the ability to remember, process, and reprocess information connected with our life’s physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and spiritual events.

Over the course of a lifetime, we have learned positive and negative ways to express and process these events. At The Picture of Health, we believe it is important to refrain from classifying them as good or bad patterns, which tends to associate acceptance and worth with performance. We prefer to evaluate behaviors and choices as “appropriate for health” or “destructive to health” according to your divine design.

Depending on the person, sometimes people decide these memories are insurmountable, unforgettable, or unforgivable, which leaves the unresolved conflicts inside the body to manifest in dis-ease, expressed as sickness, depression, and destruction.

Each time you experience the similar negative emotions or events, your cellular memory is activated and you experience the same or similar trauma, anxiousness, and dis-ease responses as when you first lived through the experience.

This same process works on all levels of our being, spirit, soul, and body. Our remembrances, memories, reside deep within our cells. They are physical bits of matter not only stored in our brain but in our internal organs and tissues.

We know that, for instance, various people who have received heart transplants have oddly acquired tastes for things they didn’t enjoy before or display emotion differently. This is because the new heart holds memory.

All cells hold the frequency of memories.

As a side note, one might ask, “Then should one avoid this life-saving procedure of transplantation?” That is most certainly a personal question for which each one must be led. However, medical and Biblical evidence asserts that when one has Powerful Truth to apply to those cells, the cells have the ability to replace and regenerate new matter, new memories, as you dictate what matter or memory your cells will retain by your choices.

It is not uncommon for soldiers who have suffered serious injury to arms or legs, which result later in amputation, to complain of feeling continued pain in the missing arm or leg. The memory of that limb has been imprinted, stored, in the body’s cells and the body caught in a memory loop of the pain and trauma. This “phantom pain” as doctors term it, can quite often be effectively removed if the “memory” is replaced with repetitive application of Truth.

Another common example of memory affecting health or disease outcomes are folks holding onto negative memories that date back to childhood, even as an infant.

Case studies show that events long forgotten or thought to have been successfully processed can continue to trigger undesirable reactions in the body seemingly without explanation. This is the cause of many cases of anger, depression, feelings of rejection, or anxiety attacks.

Years of research, for instance, has found that cancer is commonly rooted in buried negative emotions such as resentment, bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness and triggered by a powerfully negative life event, such as death of a child or spouse, adultery or divorce, or loss of long-term career, etc.

As a Chiropractic Physician, my husband frequently saw that the back, neck and shoulders often exhibit tension connected with the state of our relationships which led to spinal misalignment, nerve impingement, and immune system disorders.

Just like our physical body and immune response system is affected by these memories, memories can “activate” an emotional “immune” response that causes you to sabotage relationships for any number of excuses before people can ever get close enough to reject or hurt you.

Incorrect application of information turning on the immune attackers to destroy a non-existent enemy in the physical body, resulting in the body itself being attacked, is identical to the response of the emotional “immune” system.

So, it is clear that unresolved emotional or physical memories, “phantom pains” do feed, fertilize, real physical symptoms.

The good news is that when these memories, which are not consistent with your original DNA (agreement with your divine design), are “overwritten” or grafted with the branch of Truth (which is consistent with your design), either by supernatural imprint of an instantaneous healing, or, more commonly, by the repeated application of Truth, you can effectively clear out either of these disease and destruction causing “immune triggers.”

One of the world’s top neuro-scientists, Dr. Caroline Leaf (http://drleaf.com), has proven through years of studies that, like the illustrative picture at the top of the blog, the wiring of the brain and actions of the thoughts actually look and perform like trees, with branches producing spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical fruit.

Her powerful research has proven that applied (key word) Truths from God’s word when activated in your life and spoken to your body cells for health, relationships, finances, etc. can cause physical changes for any condition or circumstance.  That is when the following scripture becomes physiologically seen, manifested, in your life, in your body, in your relationships:

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The informational input to our brain, memory, and cells are the way that we ourselves have learned and chosen. We are what we have learned and chosen to become; we are not as we have to be. If that is not producing health, we can learn and choose to change.

Memories are chosen bits of physical matter. Activation, application of Truth, changes physical matter.

Change your mind.  Change your body.

Change your life.
