Team Unstoppable Summits at “devils playground”!

(We are prayer hiking, leaving boot marks on the enemy’s head.)

Our great thanks to all our prayer partners and all who supported the Pikes Peak climb and our attendance at the Freedom Climb conference thru Operation Mobilization! We had an amazing trip with four team members in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Our team spread out and hiked three different areas of the mountains nearby and had the most wonderful times with each other and all the new connections God had in store for us there!

The mountain was grueling and glorious and we are so thankful to have it behind us! It was seriously the hardest physical thing I have ever done in my life. For miles, I was wondering just what my “training” for the past 6 months had produced because I sure wasn’t feeling prepared for what I experienced there! Thankfully, the training strength did pay off on the way down the mountain as the oxygen level increased! I learned that the altitude really does weird things to your head and your stomach! And that’s all I will say about that for now! Suffice it to say that my former worries about the “facilities” available when mountain climbing have been answered and conquered.

I particularly enjoyed meeting several of the Freedom Climb ladies who summited Kilimanjaro last January, even had the great delight to be trained by Ramona Gliege of British Columbia on our Pikes hike Saturday – SO valuable! We learned so very much and really could not have made it through it without her great coaching and encouragement. She even loaned my teammate, Greg Wire, her poles so he could continue on the return hike downhill with me! These were particularly important for that 3 hour stretch of mountain and went very far in enabling us to go further, reach deeper, climb higher, and get lower faster!

I will share some funny outtakes with you in an upcoming post, but today’s good report is that we met all financial goals for the Pikes Peak climb and even delivered some first fruits to one of our five ministry partners, Pearl Alliance! We were so blessed to drop it off personally with our word to be back in January with another gift and a  good report!

We are thrilled to report that we have already blessed three of the five ministries with first fruit gifts thus far, so we are not holding it all until January, we are getting your seed into the ground to start producing right away!

Just as we were heading out to Colorado, our packet arrived with official confirmation of our spot on the GodTV climb team for January!! We had a good time of rejoicing at God’s goodness and then marked the calendar with our deadline dates for deposits due on that trip. For those who want to sow into that awesome mission journey, the first deadline is October 1, for $4000. and then by October 30, another $15,000 will be due for flights and lodging reservations with the Kilimanjaro guide company.

We hope you enjoy the updated video above. Please consider what the Lord would have you participate in and say “Yes!” to His leading. He has great plans for those who will plug into this age of harvest, help, and hope to BE the Light to a hurting world.

See you on the mountain tops or from them if you snooze! Don’t forget… Champions Live Differently!
